The business section focuses on organising internal and external events (for example our Winter Public Workshops and social nights), creating marketing material shared on our social platforms, and keeping track of the purchases requested within the team! The Business Section works very closely with some members of upper management such as the Finance and Human Resource Officers!
-Managing expenses and the team’s overall budget.
-Managing team’s purchases in accordance with leadership and faculty representatives.
-Managing social media accounts, advertising, merchandise and maintaining an online presence.
-Crucial in attracting potential clients, team members and other groups of interest.
-Resolving sensitive matters such as conflict resolution.
-Dealing with back end administrative roles, including workshop rostering and management handovers.
-Assistant HR Officers will assist with tasks upon request.
-Organising internal events within Monash Forge, such as BBQs and social events.
-Working with faculty representatives to ensure events have the necessary paperwork completed for the safety and wellbeing of the attendees.
-Working with Finance Officers to ensure the correct budget.
